After using both ChatGPT and Copilot for over a year, it is evident to me that Copilot is the better option, despite not receiving the recognition it deserves. Below, I highlight the key features that make Copilot an essential tool in my daily life and may convince you to make the switch as well.

On the other hand, ChatGPT’s free version is not connected to the internet, limiting its knowledge base to information available up to January 2022. This means that if you ask ChatGPT about events after this date, it may not be able to provide an accurate response. Additionally, Copilot includes footnotes with every response, citing the source of the information and providing links for further exploration, which ChatGPT lacks.
Furthermore, Copilot utilizes a more advanced version of OpenAI’s latest large language model, GPT-4 Turbo, as opposed to ChatGPT’s use of GPT-3.5. Additionally, Copilot offers voice inputs, allowing users to ask questions verbally and receive spoken responses, a feature not available in ChatGPT’s free version.

While ChatGPT also offers some of these features, it falls short in terms of connectivity and advanced functionality. Copilot’s accessibility and usability make it a standout AI chatbot that deserves more recognition in the AI space.
